GEORGETOWN, Jan 5— The annual three- day Penang International Property Summit will be held at the Subterranean Penang International Convention and Exhibition Centre from Jan 8 to Jan 10.
The summit would showcase 30 exhibitors and a conference on Jan 8 where 200 industry stakeholders are expected to attend.
State Housing and Town and Country Planning Committee Chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo said the summit would identify affordable housing challenges in Penang and on finding a solution.
“The three-day summit will showcase properties ranging from affordable housing to high-end condominiums and houses.
“The State Housing Department will handle registration for affordable housing and also update the public on the registration for low-cost and low-medium cost housing,” he told reporters here today.
The expo would also feature talks by industry experts on property-related issues, implication of the Strata Management Act 2015 and property trends in Penang for 2016.
