1. Do your homework

2. Get a lawyer
No matter you are buying or selling the house, you are required to get a lawyer to handle the legal paperwork for you. It is advisable to find a lawyer who familiar the area as they may know the local department officers and this can help them to get the things done quickly.
3. Advertise your home
Place a signboard in the vicinity of the property. Ask your friends and families to help you to spread the word. Post your advertisement on social media pages or groups. Buy newspaper ad or post your advertisement on online property portals.
Once you get the reply on your advertisement, you’ll need to request identification prior to your scheduled viewing and avoid showing the property alone.
4. Set a cut-off date
Once you put your home advertisement on social media or whatever places, you’ll need to set a cut-off date and come out a plan if your home didn’t sell out within 3 or 6 months. When reach your cut-off date, you can either continue to hold out if you are no rush to sell out your home, or look for a local property agent to takeover.
