KUANTAN — The three-day Malaysia Property Exposition Pahang II (MAPEX II) here, which will start from Oct 14, 2016, will offer over 3,000 units worth RM1.25 billion.
Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association (REHDA) Pahang branch’s Chairman, Chua Say Chai, said 28 residential and commercial developers from Pahang, Terengganu, Kuala Lumpur and Melaka will participate in the expo.
“The prices of the houses will start from RM150,000 to RM1.1 million. The Housing Division of Pahang’s State Secretary will also offer affordable houses,” he told a media briefing here Tuesday.
He said the properties comprised single- and double-storey, semi-detached and double-story semi-detached houses, apartments, bungalows and commercial units.
“These projects are located in Kuantan, Pekan, Rompin, Jengka, Muadzam Shah, Temerloh, Jerantut and Maran,” he said.
Chua added that others included seven shop lots in Terengganu, 16 semi-detached and bungalows in Kuala Lumpur and 530 condominiums, hotel and resort in Melaka.
He said MAPEX II was the best platform for those who wanted to own properties.
“REHDA eyed sales of five per cent of total units at the exposition.
“Those who want to evaluate and compare the prices of the houses are welcomed to come to MAPEX II because the developers involved will give the best prices or other promotions,” he said.
Chua said now was also the suitable time to own properties here because the prices were expected to increase following the launch of various economic plans, especially near the port areas which continue to grow.
“This includes the development in Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park in Gebeng,” he said.
