New Integrated Green Township Launched in Klang Valley

Eco World Development Group Berhad marked its entry into the North West Klang Valley growth corridor with its latest integrated green township.

Unveiled at the launch of its 12th sales gallery in Puncak Alam, Selangor, Eco Grandeur bears all the hallmarks of an EcoWorld development in terms of lavish landscaping, outstanding architecture, signature landmarks and excellent security.

“Eco Grandeur embodies modern Victorian elegance, from architecture to landscape, drawing inspiration from the Victorian era that was famous for grandeur and eclectic character influenced by arts and crafts from around the world,” said EcoWorld Development Group Bhd president and chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah.

“The icon of the township is the 25ha-Dragonfly Lake with beautiful views of a surrounding 24ha Town Park,” he said.

“The entire development will also be completed with cycling and walking paths to promote a healthy lifestyle for our residents.”

The 567ha leasehold development is targeted at first-time homeowners and those currently living within the area and in search for a better quality of life without moving away.

Chang noted that Eco Grandeur will offer homes that are affordable but do not compromise on quality and luxury.

The company targets to achieve a Green Building Index Certified Township status for the new township.

EcoWorld revealed that the 210ha Eco Business Park V, its first gated and guarded green business park within the Klang Valley, will be developed in tandem with the township and is set for launch in 2017.

“It is not just about housing; for long-term sustainability, employment is the key to everything,” said Chang.

“The business park and commercial area will also provide employment opportunities to those living within the vicinity,” he noted.

“With the given location and connectivity, the commercial area is set to be the centre of North West Corridor of Klang Valley.”

The two projects will have a combined gross development value of RM15 billion.

To be launched in September, the first two upcoming projects of Eco Grandeur were previewed at the show gallery launch.

Avenham Garden boasts double storey garden houses with built-up areas from 1,778 sq ft to 1,877 sq ft while selling price stands at around RM650,000.

With built-up areas from 1,521sq ft to 1,743 sq ft, Graham Garden features double-storey terrace houses priced at around RM500,000.

The Eco Grandeur show gallery, which is also the fifth show gallery of EcoWorld in the Klang Valley, is spread across 2ha of land, with a building space of about 20,000 sq ft.

Chang said it took two months to complete the show gallery, which is different from the company’s earlier galleries.

“Its structure is made out of steel framing with brick wall and supported on a reinforced concrete raft foundation,” he said.

The development is strategically situated with access via five major highways – Kuala Lumpur Selangor Expressway, Guthrie Corridor Expressway, North-South Expressway as well as two upcoming highways, namely the proposed West Coast Expressway and Damansara-Shah Alam Expressway.
